Every Battery Features

Low Self Discharge

Incorporating calcium lead alloys and high purity materials, produces a battery with a discharge rate of approximately 2% per month, thus increasing shelf-life and storage capabilities.

Corrosion Resistant

Electroplated copper terminals are incorporated onto batteries, designed for exceptional conductivity with high corrosion resistance to facilitate a long and productive life in a variety of applications.

Stringent quality control

All units are manufactured for conform to a number of international standards including ISO9002, JIS quality control systems, UL and CE certification.

Easy Fitment

The combination of tough ABS containers and non-spill design allows extreme flexibility in the fitting of Batteries as they can be mounted in any position.

Maintenance Free

Our batteries are maintenance free without the need to add water or check electrolyte during the batteries life.

Non-Spill Design

All seals are 100% air tested during the production process. AGM separators are used so that the entire electrolyte is absorbed by the separators and the plates to create a suspended electrolyte within the sealed casing.

Care & Maintenance Instructions

How to charge your battery
  • When your new battery arrives, make sure it is fully charged before using for the first time.
  • Ensure you are using the correct charger for the type and size of battery you want to charge.
  • Follow the instructions supplied with the charger.
  • Always charge in a ventilated room.

Operating your battery

  • Make sure to use the correct battery for the application you require.
  • Never try to open the batteries outer casing.
  • Never fully discharge the battery. Try not discharge below 30% of remaining capacity. Regular very deep discharging can shorten the batteries service life considerably.
  • Always recharge the battery immediately after using. Do not wait until the next day.
  • Take care not to short circuit the battery. Do not allow metal objects to touch both terminals. Do not touch both terminals, with wet hands.

Battery Storage

  • Always store the battery with a full charge - never leave the battery in a discharged state.
  • Disconnect the battery terminals from your electric appliance if you do not intend to use if for some time.
  • If the battery is not used for some time, it will need to be periodically charged. ideally every two months.
  • Store in a cool dry, clean place out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children.

Temperature

  • The optimum temperature for storing and operating batteries is 20C (68F).
  • Temperatures lower than 20C will affect the capacity of the battery, but help to prolong the service life.
  • Higher temperatures can actually increase the capacity of the battery, but will shorten the expected service life.
  • These batteries can be used safely in a wide range of temperatures; however very high temperatures can cause an unsustainable build-up of gassess inside causing it swell. If this occurs the battery should be replaced.

Disposal of old batteries

  • Never throw old batteries into the bin or onto fires - they must be disposed of properly.
  • Take them to your local council tip or any battery supplier licensed to dispose of used batteries.
